Advertisement specifications, with the best-performing options highlighted in yellow. You will have three ad spaces available, but you can choose as many ads as you want to rotate in those spots. We recommend at least one top banner ad, one square and rectangle ad, and one large and impactful ad. Mobile ads should be included by default.
1. Top Banner Ads – Leaderboard (728×90 pixels)
This typically appears at the top of a webpage and is ideal for high-visibility brand messages.
Large Leaderboard (970×90 pixels)
This is a larger variant of the standard leaderboard, often found at the top or bottom of a page for more impactful branding.
2. Square and Rectangle Ads – Medium Rectangle (300×250 pixels)
One of the most common display ad sizes, fitting well within content or on the sidebar.
Large Rectangle (336×280 pixels)
Larger than the medium rectangle, this ad format also fits well in content or sidebars.
Square (250×250 pixels)
Often used in sidebars or within content, but less common on large-scale websites.
3. Skyscraper Ads – Wide Skyscraper (160×600 pixels)
Often placed on the side of a webpage, this tall ad is effective for brand visibility alongside content.
Standard Skyscraper (120×600 pixels)
Similar to the wide skyscraper, this narrower version is still widely supported but less popular.
4. Large and Impactful Ads – Billboard (970×250 pixels)
A high-impact ad that appears at the top or bottom of a page, often used for brand takeovers.
Half Page (300×600 pixels)
Allows for more content and visual impact, making it great for storytelling or multi-message ads.
Portrait (300×1050 pixels)
Used for high-impact branding and rich content, typically found on premium sites.
5. Mobile Ads – Mobile Leaderboard (320×50 pixels)
Commonly appears at the top or bottom of mobile screens.
Large Mobile Banner (320×100 pixels)
A more visible option for mobile screens than the standard leaderboard.
Square (250×250 pixels) and Medium Rectangle (300×250 pixels)
Effective on mobile for embedding within content or as interstitial ads.
6. Responsive Ads – Responsive Ads (Variable sizes)
These ads automatically adjust to fit available ad space on a page. They’re dynamically sized based on the screen size and the layout, commonly used in programmatic and Google Ads.
7. Rich Media Ads – Expandable Banners
These ads start in a standard size (e.g., 300×250) and expand when interacted with, providing extra space for additional content.
Animated GIFs and HTML5 Ads
These ads are often created in formats like HTML5 for animation and interactivity, and they must meet file size requirements (often under 150 KB) to load quickly without disrupting the user experience.
File Size and Format Specs – File Size
Typically kept under 150 KB, but rich media ads may be larger.
Formats
JPEG, PNG, GIF (for static and animated images), and HTML5 (for interactive and animated ads).
Animation Length
Generally, animations should loop for a maximum of 15-30 seconds.
