On the eve of the highly-anticipated performance from pioneering German electronic band Kraftwerk at the Eastern, the Detroit Techno Experience is a multi-sensory and auditory celebration of the band’s contributions to Black dance music at the Echo Room, located inside of Westside Motor Lounge.
The free event features synthesizer and drum machine demonstrations, clips from the 2022 documentary “God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines” and all-vinyl sets from DJs Kai Alce, Adrian Loving and Reggie Dokes
